Shortcut to Success - Wheel of Fortune

Since I was a kid at school, I was told that there was no shortcut to success. Somewhere along the way I started to believe that and always thought you needed years of studying, the knowledge, and the experience to be successful in a chosen area.
3 years ago, I started to learn to read the tarot and I found tarot readers with decades of experience. I hesitated to move forward. Yet, in the last 3 months I have learnt more than in the last 3 years because I was in a hurry. I searched for more information, I read a lot more, I was selective and definitely the experiences of others helped me find more meaning than I would have if I did it on my own.
Today there is a shortcut to success because the learning, the experience and the mistakes of others give you the shortcut to get where you want without stumbling along.
We should not cut, but it is wise to copy and edit our lives in all spheres, we can be a lot more successful than we are today. If all lives had a copyright, then we would have become extinct ages ago.
If I am willing to respect and take from another's learning, then I will be not just a jealous neighbor but a model that someone else can look upto.
When you stagnate and do not grow, you are afraid to share and then the cycle is broken. For the Wheel of Fortune to keep moving, you have to move it and let someone else move it as well.

Cups and the Right brain

The Cups are associated with Water and the West. The West associates with the Right brain of our body.

People differ in brain activity. The right hemisphere of the brain is considered the emotional brain. Those who are right brained are dreamers; intelligent and very deep thinkers and get lost in their own little worlds. They revel in social sciences and arts but may not do very well in Math or the sciences. They are sensitive and more people oriented, dependable and more spontaneous than the cautious left-brainers. They can be very intuitive and follow their own gut feelings.

Most tarot readers would probably be right-brained.

Are your right brained?

If you are more holistic, see things as a whole rather than in parts, emotional, sensitive, creative, and visualize rather than memorize. If you hear a word "flower", you may associate it with a particular flower or an incident with a flower rather than spell the word "flower Do you think fast with constant movement of thoughts that can be totally unassociated? Are you non-judgemental, won't condemn a person for a single flaw, trusting, physical when having a conversation and like to touch to make contact? If you do not like monotony, look for the new constantly and prefer change you just may be right brained.

These characteristics seem to connect to the "Cups". I see myself as a Cup person rather than a wand, sword, or pentacle person.
So what are you?

Ace of Swords Contd....

Here are Wishes for a victory
And if this is a war of the mighty
May you have the strength
To see you through until the end.

This may be your first step
And you may feel shaky from within
But stay firm in your vision
Remember that you are not alone
But a mighty force from above
Will hold your hand and lead you on

Think not about the laurels and the crown
But take the path that feels right
And you will achieve more than what you dream of

May the clouds of uncertainty disappear
And fire up your imagination and skills
So your days are filled and complete

Finding the writer in me

I am a tarot reader, practice fengshui and pranic healing. I have worked as a writer and editor managing a Technical Publications team. I quit my job as a manager to follow my passion for writing and the metaphysical world. I would love to write for a magazine.

My subjects of interest are Tarot, Feng Shui, the Chakras, and Travel. I hold a Masters degree in Psychology and Human resource management.

Its strange but I wrote this post sometime ago and it seems like I knew where my future should go but took small steps towards it and today I am there. Life and the signs amaze me time and again.

Life is a great master and teacher and the lessons of life make the best reading. This is the subject I wish to write on and it took me 40 years to recognize my gift within. I was looking all over for luck to strike and about a month ago "I got lucky, I found me."

Ace of Swords

From the image that I saw, the Ace of Swords sets you on a race track.
There is a vehicle to drive, there is a starting line but you also
have competition.

The clouded hand is a gift from either the universal force or someone
special who will reach out. In ancient India, when one was taught to
learn to fight with a sword, the sword was handed over by a guru or
someone with a lot of experience. The lessons had to be learned before
someone can step into a battlefield.
In today's world everyday is a battlefield of competition whether in
school, career and even in love. Experience and lessons from the
experienced always help to win.

I saw fire around the sword. Fire never happens without fuel and only
you can fuel that fire. Fire cannot also give light or destroy so your
thoughts have to take the right direction.
When the sword is lifted high, it always symbolizes victory and it
points towards the sky. It can mean that you have the chance to move
high, have the universe on your side and its in your hands.

Clouds give light when there is lightning and lightning happens when
clouds clash. A clouding of thoughts that clash with one another can
also cause clashes and choices. Clouds can give rain or just pass. Its
about taking one thought that can be moved to action among other thoughts.

Why Tarotchi?

I believe that "Chi", 'Qi" or energy as we all understand it is the soul of the universe and it exists in various forms but it is omnipresent. We have heard of energy transforming from one form to another. We breathe in energy, eat energy in calories, and burn energy through exercise.
Did you know that each one of us have an energy body around us that is called our aura. This energy connects with the energy of the universe and draws from it.
Feng shui relates to the chi of our living and working spaces. The Chi in our environment also gets enhanced or depleted. Like the poles each one of us are drawn by some energy and repel other energy and to understand it, we call it positive and negative energy.
Pranic healing relates to the same chi also known as prana. We have energy centers in our body called chakras that are like channels that draw and expel energy, are related to various organs and endocrine glands. The energy levels at each chakra impact not only the physical functioning but also impact our personalities and the functioning of the mind.
Now what does Tarot have to do with all of this? Do you believe in signs or symbols? Do you have a gut feeling about something and it turns out, you are right?
Tarot is about such signs and symbols but a divination method that focuses on such signs and images through a intuitive process that tarot readers develop. Some do it by studying generic meanings that have been developed for centuries. Others find their own meanings through a intuitive process. I call this connecting with the universe, that force which is the all permeating chi.
Tarot cards have different images based on the deck but what gives those images meaning is the energy that gives life to the images. I believe in a supernatural force that directs us constantly but we are too busy in the physical world that we cannot always connect with that force. All that a tarot reader does is to connect to the chi of the universe to give answers to questions. I call the tarot a map with directions. At times, we travel without a map and may find our way or get lost. No matter what vehicle we use, we need fuel or energy to move.
Similarly, tarot needs energy or chi to give directions.

So here you are at Tarotchi@Bangalore. I thank the energy of the tarot for energizing my life with meanings and intuition to see the signs and reach out to people and their questions.
You can know more about me and my services from my profile.
